Did you know
The East Reservoir was built in 1833 to store New River water and opened to the public for the first time on 1 May 2016; London Wildlife Trust says Sir David Attenborough opened the reserve.
Local tip
Free entry: open 9:30am to 5pm from April to September and 9:30am to 4pm from October to March (last entry 30 minutes before closing). Look out for kingfishers and great crested grebes; only assistance dogs are allowed.
