Did you know
The 1915 Grahame-White Watch Office, built as part of Claude Grahame-White's aircraft factory at Hendon and used as the airfield's control tower in the second world war, was moved onto the museum site in 2010 and reunited with the Grahame-White Hangar.
Local tip
Open daily 10am to 5pm with free entry, though booking tickets in advance is recommended. The 4D Theatre Experience is closed for refurbishment until 31 December 2026, so the hangars are the draw for now; car parking costs roughly £8.50 to £11.
