Did you know
The park's mansion was hit by bombing in the Second World War and demolished in 1941, and the café now stands near the site.
Local tip
It opens at 7.30am all year and closes between 4.30pm in winter and 9pm from late April to August, so check the closing time before a late visit. The zoo and park are free, and it is a 14-minute walk from Golders Green station.
