Did you know
William Blake claimed to have seen his first vision on Peckham Rye in the 1760s, a tree filled with angels, and the park was declared open on 14 May 1894.
Local tip
Look for the Japanese garden and, on the west side, the remaining stretches of the River Peck stream. A parkrun is held here every week.
