Did you know
The garden contains a 200-year-old olive tree brought from Jerusalem, a living link to the Order of St John's historical roots in the Holy Land, planted among herbs chosen for their medicinal associations with the Order's origins as a hospitaller organisation.
Local tip
It's only open Monday to Saturday and closes whenever a private event or children's activity is taking place, so it's worth checking ahead if you're making a special trip rather than passing by.
