Did you know
Adam's Etruscan dressing room was inspired by vases then thought to be Etruscan but now recognised as Greek, from Sir William Hamilton's collection.
Local tip
On the September 2026 timetable the house was open 11:00-15:30 and the garden 10:00-17:00; a road closure at Thornbury Road off the A4 needed a diversion, so leave extra time.
