Did you know
Monmouth Coffee opened in 1978 in a Grade II listed 18th-century house on Monmouth Street, with the basement used for roasting and the ground floor as a tasting room.
Local tip
Expect a queue even at opening. Go early on a Saturday when nearby Seven Dials is still quiet, and if there are two lines, the one nearer the pub is for coffee, not beans.
