Did you know
It dropped its corporate sponsor name in March 2026, more than a decade after opening as the Emirates Air Line in 2012, and TfL is now running it simply as the London Cable Car while it looks at short-term partnerships instead of a long-term sponsor.
Local tip
Go near sunset for the best light on the skyline. A round trip gives you time to actually take in the view, a one-way trip only makes sense if you're using it to cross the river rather than sightsee.
