Did you know
The house stayed largely unchanged for decades, and Sambourne's granddaughter Anne, Countess of Rosse, helped found the Victorian Society in 1957.
Local tip
Open 10am to 5:30pm with last entry at 4:30pm, and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Tickets are sold online through the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea museums page.
