Did you know
Zandra Rhodes founded the museum herself in 2003 and personally commissioned the architect. The loud pink-and-orange exterior is a deliberate design statement from a designer known for bold prints, not a later rebrand.
Local tip
The building itself, not just the exhibitions, is worth the visit. It's one of the few genuinely colourful pieces of architecture in this part of Bermondsey, easy to combine with a walk to Maltby Street or Bermondsey Street.
