Did you know
The building was put up around 1810 to guard the churchyard next door from grave robbers, then spent decades as a laundry office before founder Roland Horne turned it into a ten-seat coffee shop.
Local tip
It only seats ten people, so this works best as a quick stop rather than a sit-down visit. Bermondsey Street is worth the walk either way, with Maltby Street Market a few minutes further on.
