Did you know
The album cover photo was shot in about ten minutes on the morning of 8 August 1969, with photographer Iain Macmillan taking just six frames from a stepladder in the middle of the road while a policeman held up traffic.
Local tip
It's a working road crossing with real traffic, so watch for cars while posing, and visit early morning or a weekday to get a clear shot without other tourists recreating the same pose.
