Did you know
The house, called Water House, was built in 1762 and became a museum only in 1950, when Prime Minister Clement Attlee opened it.
Local tip
Free entry, normally Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 5pm, but the building closes between exhibitions, so check the website before you go. Deeney's Cafe in Lloyd Park is a handy stop nearby.
