Did you know
The gallery opened in 1985 at Boundary Road in St John's Wood and has been at the Duke of York's Headquarters in Chelsea since October 2008. It became a registered charity in 2019.
Local tip
Entry depends on the exhibition: some are free with a suggested donation, others are ticketed and need pre-booking. The gallery closes for installation between shows, so check the website before you go.
