Did you know
The garden opened in 2011 in partnership with the Eden Project and is still maintained partly by volunteers alongside a head gardener, and in 2026 Time Out named its bar London's best rooftop bar.
Local tip
It keeps limited, changing opening hours through the week, generally closed Monday and Tuesday, so check the Southbank Centre website before making the trip, and reach it via the yellow staircase up from the main Southbank walkway.
