Did you know
Its name comes from the Memorable Order of Tin Hats, a veterans' group that once used the hall. In March 2026 Hackney Council refused flats planned next door after a petition passed 30,000 signatures.
Local tip
Check the listings and buy tickets for the night you want; Time Out lists a 3am weekend close. There is one raised step at the front with a step-free side entrance, and booth seating by the stage can be reserved for anyone who cannot stand for long.
