Did you know
The garden sits where seven buildings were destroyed in Second World War bombing. Residents began turning it into a 'Pleasure Garden' in 1990, named after the historic Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens.
Local tip
Free to enter. It is open from morning to evening every day, but it is volunteer-run so times are flexible. The Harleyford Road Community Garden next door can be reached through a hidden passage from the square.
