Did you know
Painted in a single summer's day in 2002 by artist Patricio Forrester and Julian Sharples for the Deptford X Festival, it was Forrester's first commissioned mural in London and was later restored through community crowdfunding after decades of weathering.

It's a quick, free stop rather than a destination in itself, worth glancing up at while passing through Giffin Square on the way to the market or Deptford Market Yard.
